Featuring omnidirectional reading on a wide range of symbologies, the Lynx BT reader decodes the most common 1D and 2D codes including stacked and postal codes no matter how the code is oriented. It is also able to capture signatures or images of objects such as shipping damage documentation To increase efficiency, it can also decode all the codes found in the captured image. The captured image can be processed on board, or downloaded in different formats (.bmp, .jpg, .tif) for image processing on the host side. Up to 4 acquisition options allow image manipulation: zoom (from 20% to 200%), contrast, brightness (±100%) and windowing.
Aiming at the image to be captured is easy and intuitive, with the double-click trigger that enables the Datalogic 5-dot aimer, marking the four corners and center of the reading area.
The base station/charger is equipped with a multi-standard interface for connection to the host via USB (COM and Wedge Emulation), RS-232 or Wedge Emulation. VisualSetup™, the software tool included in the package, allows easy configuration of all the parameters to personalize the reader for any application through a RS-232 interface, as well as providing a quick view of the downloaded images.
